The AGC Georgia and the AGC Georgia Shared Safety Interest Group (SSIG) would like to convey special recognition and a warm thanks to each of our frontline supervisors here at McLendon Enterprises, Inc. Their dedication in keeping safety at the forefront on their projects is acknowledged and greatly admired across the state of Georgia. From May 18, 2022, to May 18, 2023, our frontline supervisors conducted themselves as leaders in the McLendon Enterprises, Inc. Safety Program. Leading by example, they proved that they could produce a finished project while keeping the health and safety of their workforce at the forefront of each day.

The MEI Safety Department would like to give a special thanks to the 3 Bryan County EMS Emergency Fire & Rescue battalions for their time and professional advice. Chief Matt Fleming: 11th Battalion Shift A Chief Victoria Pape: 12th Battalion Shift B Chief Tim Stillwell: 13th Battalion Shift C They were each joined by their teams in assisting the MEGA Safety Director with building an emergency action plan for the site. With nearly 1700 acres of work being conducted, clear communication with local EMS is paramount between site safety and the 3 local Battalions in the event of an emergency. MEI would like to thank these teams for their service to this community. These brave men and women brought as much concern to ensuring this plan of action is clear and easy to understand, in the case of an emergency, as they would to their own local residents. Pictured below is the 13th battalion with Chief Tim Stillwell of shift C, just one battalion out of the three that came out, along with MEI Senior Project Manager Adam Lee and MEGA Site Project Manager Melissa Nevil.
